RPM is home of one of the quickest and fastest Nitrous injected LSX engine based cars in the country. Car owner-- Brad Boone--sports 10.5 drag radials, full chassis and stock style suspension. The LS7 power plant propels this '99 Camaro SS to 8.20's in the 1/4 mile and @164 MPH all the while on only a generous shot of gas. It has gained the name "The Black Car" from the fans and peers. Since our friends at Wheel to Wheel Powertrain built this LS7 to easily withstand a 500 HP shot of N20, we haven't pushed the car to its full potential.
We're proud to announce R.P.M. is now also the home of the worlds fastest and most powerful (documented) Trailblazer SS. This heavy weight '06 SUV--4650lbs worth--holds the record at 10.21 @ 132 mph 1/4 mile. while rubbing against 800 RWHP. A 402 LS2, TrickFlow heads, an Nitrous Dave direct port nitrous system, a few RPM tricks, and a solid tune makes it possible...
R.P.M.'s race car (owner--Ryan Robinson) has been put on the back burner and has been MIA most of this year. Still running strong at a best of 9.61 1/4 mile E.T., other projects and a busy schedule has kept it out of the public eye. No immediate plans for any changes to the car are being made. No one knows what the future will hold, but we'll see.
